Shiri Lanzer, 34, was born and raised in Kibbutz Ginosar and resides today in Udim.
A graduate of the Hulon Technological Institute (1999), she has a B.Sc.T.E. in design and a teacher's license in interior design from the University of Tel Aviv.
For the last three years Shiri has been doing artistic writing, ketubah decoration and a wide range of Judaica–related calligraphy jobs. In addition to her work as an artist, she gives classes in calligraphy and decoration at the College for Administration.
Shiri's work is defined by gentleness and a high level of attention to details. She makes this possible by using art materials such as colored pencils and inks backed by her skilled and careful use of the brush. The materials used by Shiri for her work are of the highest quality. Authentic parchment (light and kosher), archival ink and oil based colors help guarantee that the ketubah will remain in mint condition for many generations.
The decorations on each ketubah reflect peace, innocence, and a unique spring beauty, mirroring the landscapes of her childhood next to the Golan Mountains, by the Kinneret.
