Similar to the hand-made ketubah, I insist on the best with the printed ketubah. When you order a printed ketubah, it is important to pay attention to the quality of the printing; the paper, and the ink. If you don’t use quality materials, the ketubah lose its beauty over the years. This is why I print my ketubahs with a special printing press. The printing is on special and archival paper that fits this press—the paper is acid free, texturized thick cotton (350 g) that will not rot or become yellowed. The ink is also important to the quality of the color—if it is of quality, it will stay good for many years. The combination of a quality paper and a quality ink guarantees that the ketubah will be quality for at least 75 years (indoor). In comparison, laser printing will lose its color after one year. So why buy a ketubah that will lose its colors?

When you design different part of a ketubah that include a gold color, printing with gold will never be that same as writing in gold by hand. This is why, after printing the ketubah, I use a special brush to go over the gold parts again.
